      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello NXP team,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We are using a part&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;FONT color="#008080"&gt;MIMX8MQ6CVAHZAB&lt;/FONT&gt; in our design.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We have a use case of&amp;nbsp;4 Camera Decode (1080p30) +&amp;nbsp; Compute (Offloaded to AI Accelerator)&amp;nbsp;+ CPU Post processing (overlay / bounding box)&amp;nbsp;+ Composite view to the display.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Along with the above use case if the encoding is also required, do you have any recommendations of an SoC in the iMX8 Family?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;i.MX8MP is better. It has NPU for machine learning task. 2 x MIPI-CSI could connect two cameras. Other cameras could connect via Network (IP cameras to GB Ethernet on 8MP) and USB could connect one.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

There are &lt;A href="https://www.nxp.com/design/software/embedded-software/i-mx-software:IMX-SW" target="_self"&gt;Android and Linux BSP&lt;/A&gt;. And what kind of application will you run on your system to capture and compute the data. So it is better to buy the &lt;A href="https://www.nxp.com/design/development-boards/i-mx-evaluation-and-development-boards/evaluation-kit-for-the-i-mx-8m-plus-applications-processor:8MPLUSLPD4-EVK" target="_self"&gt;i.MX8MP EVK&lt;/A&gt; to develop and run your applications on it. It would more accurate to check how many memory and EMMC spaces will need for your use cases.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
