Hi @rajneeshsaini,

Unfortunately, on iMX8QM the TSN is unsupported by the Ethernet PHY. I would recommend using the iMX8M Plus to implement the TSN standard.

Here are the specifications for iMX8M Plus:

Two Ethernet controllers, capable of simultaneous operation
• One Gigabit Ethernet controller with support for EEE, Ethernet AVB and
IEEE1588
• One Gigabit Ethernet controller with support for TSN, EEE, Ethernet AVB and
IEEE1588

I hope this information will be helpful.

Have a great day!

we are using a imx8qm based SOM module for one of our avionics projects. as per project requirements we need to implement a TSN ethernet. To meet that we a using a TSN switch(SJA1105Q). Now to interface the switch with the SOM we require to connect 4 differential lines and 4 clock signals (rxc, txc, rxctrl, txctrl) to the ethernet PHY. Som is already provided with PHY but we have access to only the 4 differential lines and no clock signals are available through the SOM edge connector. How we can implement TSN functionality in this use case. Refer the figure to better understand the problem statement.
