Hello everyone,

I noticed that the RPMsg lite Library for the M4 core for my iMX7ULP MCU is available from 2 locations:

https://github.com/nxp-mcuxpresso/rpmsg-lite

or the downloadable NXP SDK from https://mcuxpresso.nxp.com:

../NXP-SDK/middleware/multicore/rpmsg_lite/lib/

Which version is recommended to use and why?

What are the differences between the two sources ?

Best regards,

Markus Horbach.

HI @markus4work!

Thank you for contacting NXP Support!

I recommend using the version installed in the SDK because that version is tested for that specific device.

The difference is the version you can download a new version from GitHub but is not tested for all devices and the version inside the SDK is tested and optimized for each device.

Best Regards!
