    <description>&lt;P&gt;I think I have it figured out.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To get the filesystem image, I did:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;dd if=/dev/mmcblk2 | ssh -C &lt;A href="mailto:myuser@mycomputer" target="_blank"&gt;myuser@mycomputer&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;'cat &amp;gt; disk.img'&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Then, I downloaded the U-boot "firmware recovery image" from Compulab. &amp;nbsp;I'm not sure this is correctly named. &amp;nbsp;I decompressed the zip file, and it has two flash files inside the zip file. &amp;nbsp;I'm not 100% sure, but it looks like you choose the flash file based on the amount of memory on your Compulab. &amp;nbsp;I used&amp;nbsp;flash.bin.d2d4.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Then, to flash the system, I plugged into the programming port and restarted the device. &amp;nbsp;Then I ran:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;uuu -b emmc_all&amp;nbsp;flash.bin.d2d4 disk.img&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This resulted in a fully working system.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Generate and load a UUU image</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I am unclear on how UUU works. &amp;nbsp;I have a Compulab that ships with Debian Linux. &amp;nbsp;I have it configured the way I want it, and would like to create an image to burn for UUU. &amp;nbsp;Do I use "dd" to create the image? &amp;nbsp;Do I dd the whole EMMC drive or just the root partition? &amp;nbsp;Do I need to do anything for the EFI boot partition? &amp;nbsp;What is the right command to flash it back to the Compulab? &amp;nbsp;Do I need to flash the boot loader or just leave it?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The documentation about UUU doesn't say anything about where these images are coming from. &amp;nbsp;It's also unclear from the documentation which arguments are files, pre-installed scripts, or what/where they came from. &amp;nbsp;Trying to avoid just playing with this because I don't want to accidentally break anything. &amp;nbsp;I'm very experienced in Linux admin, but not very experienced in the embedded side.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
