NXP IMX8QM Audio Issue

Good afternoon,

we flashed AAOS 13.0.0_1.1.0 image (mek_8q_car2-userdebug) built from sources into the i.MX 8QuadMax MEK.

As indicated in the User's guide, the route is configured as follows: alarm, notification, and system sounds are played from the audio jack on the CPU board. Other sounds such as music are played from the extended audio board.

The audio jack works properly as expected.

The problem is that we are not able to get any audio from the extended audio board.

Could you please give us support?

Hi @Danilo3,

I hope you are doing well.

->Please make sure to check the audio jack on the CPU board to make sure it is properly seated.
Check the audio cables connecting the CPU board to the extended audio board to make sure they are properly connected.
Reboot the i.MX 8QuadMax MEK.

->Please make sure to update the audio drivers for the i.MX 8QuadMax MEK. Please use the latest BSP to use that.

thanks for your feedback.

We've checked the hardware and everything looks perfectly fine.

Coming to the audio drivers update, we are actually using the latest BSP.

Do you have any other suggestions to cope with this issue?
