&lt;P&gt;If you have ubuntu 20.04 running on MX8MP is ok to develop in MX8MP you just need the toolchain:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;gcc-arm-none-abi-10.3.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Is the one that came on BSP.&lt;/P&gt;
