Hi all,

We are developing a USB host device running Linux OS on iMX8QuadMax.

I want to test USB2.0 compliance tests to verify electrical characteristics.

I saw the following case,

https://community.nxp.com/t5/i-MX-Processors/i-MX8M-Plus-USB2-0-Compliance-Test/m-p/1433090

I have read AN12409. And I understood that in the USB 2.0 host test, the DUT (host) sets the PID corresponding to each test in the test fixture.

We outsource our compliance testing (its too expensive in the testing environment). We need to ensure that the DUT is working correctly before we commission a test.

/We don't have test fixtures, so I guess we have to check the code. Is it a driver? Where can we look to see that it has been implemented correctly? And how can we check that the driver is enabled?
/Does the device tree limit this?
/Or do build options ever enable or disable test mode?
What can you check in advance to perform a compliance test on the USB 2.0 host device?

This is the same that should be checked when each test mode does not work in compliance test. Your help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Best Regards,

Yukio Oyama

Hello,

I think the "i.MX8_8X series USB Certification Guide" you attached seems to satisfy my question. I will try the contents of this file.

If any new questions arise to me, I will ask them in a new thread. So I will close this case. Thank you.

Best Regards,

Yukio Oyama
