      <title>kernel boot stuck, mmc0 driver message missing, "Waiting for root device /dev/mmcblk0p2"</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm trying to get our board working, booting off via eMMC but it gets stuck kernel boot around "Waiting for root device /dev/mmcblk0p2" and I've noticed that the logs doesn't show the driver starting for mmc0 (it does show mmc1).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;eMMC is on USDHC1 (mmc0), same as the evaluation board in which the same build is able to proceed normally.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;PRE&gt;[ 2.957668] mmc0: SDHCI controller on 30b40000.mmc [30b40000.mmc] using ADMA&lt;BR /&gt;[ 2.964893] mmc1: SDHCI controller on 30b50000.mmc [30b50000.mmc] using ADMA&lt;/PRE&gt;&lt;P&gt;While in our setup, the first line, the driver log for mmc0 does not show up.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It's able to go past u-boot but it's getting stuck in kernel boot.&lt;BR /&gt;Here is the full log:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;PRE&gt;U-Boot 2021.04-lf_v2021.04+gf7b43f8b4c (Mar 01 2022 -
