I am running Android Automotive OS 10 on my iMX8QM board.

Can I make a phone call without purchasing GAS (Google Automotive Services) for Android Automotive OS 10?

Hello,

Yes, it seems that it is needed. Car manufacturers who want to provide Google services such as Maps, Play Store, Assistant, etc. Can work directly with Google to provide GAS support. GAS is comprised of software built on top of the Android Automotive OS for the purpose of providing such services.
