Hello,

what are the options for debugging the Cortex-M7 on my LEC-IMX8MP modul. The datasheet from Adlink states that there should be a 30-pin Header with 5 pins for the JTAG interface. Unfortunately, that interface is missing on my modul. Are there any other options, like debugging from the Cortex-A or at least debug traces?

Edit: Adlink support supplied me with the pinout <LI-EMOJI id="lia_slightly-smiling-face" title=":slightly_smiling_face:"></LI-EMOJI>

do you mean your board doesn't have any debug interface?

It technically does, but the 30-Pin header, of which 5 pins are reserved for JTAG are missing. I could solder them on myself, but Adlink does not supply a pinout or any schematics for the board, so I'm kind of lost.

On page 13 they state that there should be a connector, which is simply missing on my board.

LEC-IMX8Mplus User guide (adlinktech.com)

maybe you can refer to the chapter 9 Linux Remote Processor (RPROC) framework
