AN12195 has the following build related items
5.1.2. Setup aarch64 toolchain
5.1.3. Build uboot-imx and copy binaries
5.1.4. Apply low-power patch and build bl31.bin
5.1.5. Unpack binary firmware
5.1.6. Build final flash.bin
5.2. Rebuild kernel with new drivers

If I don't build all of these, won't the playback/recording sample programs in this application note work?

what bsp version did you test? did you test on imx8mq evk board, right?

Yes, I plan to run imx8mq evk, but the build will not pass.
I have already asked the NXP community about the items that are not building successfully.
Here, these are questions about whether all of the above should be built.

I just want to run the playback/recording sample program in the application note.
