Hi,

You should try the i.MX6 or in better case the i.MX8MN

Dear Community

Firstly I apologiese if this question have been answered before but because I am not really sure how to go about it from the get go I would not know the answer even if it was in front of my eyes

I have a load of touch panels with run an embedded and as I understand it is a customisation of

Symbio Android i.MX53 as posted on this website

https://www.crestron.com/Legal/Open-Source-Software

The device is a Crestron TSW-752

This manufacturer have discontinued this device a long time ago and changed it with a couple versions since then but thinking outside the box I was wondering if at all is possible to replace the OS and have it running a different application on either android or whatever other os that may be available

I kno for a fact that the device does not boot at all without the SD card.

Is there any kind should here that would be ever so kind to point me on the right direction if that exists at all and see how I can try and achieve this

I am not trying to run the latest and the best of course. just see if anything else can be achieved with these devices as they seem an awful waste especially considering their original cost

Appreciate your time
