[IMX8QM] How to stop Cortex-M4 from Linux

Hi,

I have an imx8qm-mek and I'm trying to stop the Cortex-M4 from the Linux system.

I followed the guide to compile the Linux image ( v. 5.15.32_2.0.0 ) using Yocto and I copied the resulting image on the microSD.

When I execute the command:

echo stop > /sys/class/remoteproc/remoteproc1/state

I get the following error:

[ 273.961402] imx-rproc imx8qm_cm4@0: Failed to stop M4! [ 273.966937] remoteproc remoteproc1: can't stop rproc: -13

Does anybody know which is the correct way to stop it?
