Imx8 series support possible operating systems based on nxp web site.

I see a dedicated OS for android auto which can run on IMX series. However Yocto project was already selected on our platform which is imx8qmmek. Is it possible to implement android auto on our yocto project. We have already developed QT applications running on yocto. So andorid auto will be another qml window in our yocto project. Does BSPs at android os will help us or should we check for something different to Android Auto Integration on Yocto?

Hello JosephJ,

It is possible to have two or three OS in your MX8, you can do it with XEN hypervisor, you must be sure to be using the MX8QM.

Regards
