No, We can't test secure boot without programming fuse. But We don't need to close device.

Processor : i.MX8M mini
OS : Yocto Zeus
u-boot : u-boot-2020.04
Kernel : 5.4.47

Hi,
I am implementing secure boot on i.MX8M mini and completed all configurations with High Assurance Boot (HAB) and compilation done. I would like to test it on a test board without writing e-fuse permanently.

Is it possible to test secure boot (with HAB) without locking e-fuse? How can i do that? can you give me any related docs?

Any help will be appreciated.

Hi @Harvey021
Thanks for your reply.
I know that I can not test secure boot without programming fuse. According to the https://community.nxp.com/t5/i-MX-Processors/eFUSE-Question/m-p/511419/highlight/true#M83385 , I can't revert the fuse once I write 1 to the fuse bit. If it is so, there is a chance of losing one hardware.
Is there any possibility of reversing the fuse after testing?
