hi.
I'm looking for a way to share screen with gstreamer on IMX8 wayland(weston).

If it supports X11, there should be no problem, but IMX8 does not support X11.

I don't know how to do it to capture the contents of the drm backend.

I've tested the remote plug-in or pipewire-plug-in, but it doesn't work.

I'm using imx-weston 9.0.0, and it probably doesn't work well there.

Please let me know if there is a way.

what bsp version do you use? I checked the latest 5.15.32 bsp, which has add screen share code already, you can try to use the latest bsp

I tested it on yocto zeus.

I'll test it on kirkstone.

By the way, the screen sharing you checked means sharing with RDP backend?

Or was it just stream with gstreamer?

Can you explain a little more in detail?

I mean weston, the patch was already applied on the bsp , I checked the source code screen-share.c in of weston
