Hi,

Were in the development stage of a new product based on the iMX8M and have ran into an issue regarding swupdate and the type of initialisation manager. Our build requires systemd and there's no changing that, however swupdate requires sysvinit for it's smaller footprint rescue system; is there any way around this as it seems to be a common problem? Swupdate itself builds and the Mongoose web interface runs; it's generating the swupdate-image which is the issue i.e. bitbake swupdate-image.

Yocto build: 5.15.5 Honister

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

NOTE: Resolving any missing task queue dependencies

ERROR: Nothing RPROVIDES 'sysvinit' (but /...../meta-swupdate/recipes-extended/images/swupdate-image.bb RDEPENDS on or otherwise requires it)
sysvinit was skipped: 'sysvinit' not in DISTRO_FEATURES
NOTE: Runtime target 'sysvinit' is unbuildable, removing...
Missing or unbuildable dependency chain was: ['sysvinit']
ERROR: Required build target 'swupdate-image' has no buildable providers.
Missing or unbuildable dependency chain was: ['swupdate-image', 'sysvinit']

Thanks!
