Standalone Boot loader for imxrt1060

Hi,

We have an imxrt1060 based custom board. We are running our own application on it so far and its OK.

Either I use a jtag to download the code or flash the code on the QSPI flash using MCU boot utility.

Now, there is a need to add a boot loader. I have seen the SDK examples - evkimxrt_flashloader and imxrt_mcuboot_opensource. I have also looked at the SBL and SFW source code, but these are huge sources and has a lot of functionality.

I am looking for a stand alone boot loader which is its own application that i can flash on the QSPI flash.

Is there any example or code available that I can use or look at?

I think that you could refer to the AN12604 Implement second bootloader on i.MXRT10xx series (i.MX RT1050, i.MX RT1020, and i.MX RT1060 are covered in the app note)

This application note provides information about the basic elements to implement a secondary bootloader. The software for this application note is here AN12604 software
