Slow HAB API authenticate image on i.MXRT1170

Dear NXP Supporters,

I've tried to use HAB API in our bootloader to authenticate our application image via XIP FlexSPI Nor-Flash on i.MXRT1170. But it is very slow to complete the authenticate process. Our Application is about 2.15M，and it will cost about 2.2s to complete the authenticate.

I have tried to make the application to the same address of bootloader, which makes the Boot ROM to run the HAB authenticate and start the applition directly, and it only takes about 200ms.

I don't know what the difference btw Boot ROM HAB authenticate and HAB API authenticate. Could you please provide some advice to make the authenticate faster?
