Hi, I have been trying to run RTC in mimxrt1060 controller with the help of coin cell battery. The aim is to continue the RTC counter value during the power cycle and for this the coin cell battery is connected to J6 in mimxrt1060 development board.
The problem that is present is once the power is removed then the clock is also getting reset.

How to solve this issue??

Please check whether the 3V VDD_SNVS_IN voltage remains in place when the main
5V power is removed (you can measure it, for example, on the J5 header
contacts). Also, please check whether the 32kHz clock keeps stably running when
the main 5V power is removed (you can check it with the oscilloscope on the
32kHz crystal contacts).

Best Regards,
Artur
