Hi,

I have to check the DDR4 of my new custom board with a IMX8QXP-C0.

I am using MSCALE software: mx8_ddr_stress_test_ER14_installation.zip which seems the latest.

This one is working on my IMX8QXP EVM board but not on my custom board.

The IMX8QXP-C0 on my board has no installed firmware and is configured in serial boot mode.

Please see me attached log files: one with my EVM board and one with my custom board. There are really different. Why?

On the custom board (DDR-UBR.log), it is written at the end:

"Incorrect SECO FW version 2.5.4 (2.6.0 or later required)"

The Seco FW is given by the Mscale, am I right? So does it mean my Mscale is not the latest? Do you have a new one?

Or do I need to download a Seco FW prior using Mscale? With uuu?

Thank you for your help.

I discovered the problem, I was on the wrong UART (I was on SCU UART, not UART0).

Note: even with a new board without SCFW or any software, the DDR tools is working correctly.
