Using SD card on MIMXRT1160-EVK

Dear team,

My customer is trying to read/write on the SD card on MIMXRT1160-EVK but he got difficult to run the example code from the SDK.
first of all, he did not weld the R136 on the EVK (which should detect the card inserted into the socket) but he has bypassed it in the code to skip the waiting for detection.

but still, the example code is not able to read/write on the SDcard, does the R136 is a must to be populated also what the trade-off by adding this resistor to the EVK?
also if there is any specific format the SDcard should be formatted?

Hi @shai_b

SD card need to be formated to fat32 in the PC before insert to the RT1160 EVK.

So, please format your SDcard at first.
