topic 0 SWD device detected in i.MX Processors

0 SWD device detected

I have a RT1024 EVK which I've been using with MCUXpresso 11.4.0. I have not been able to debug anything - I get a popup saying "0 available SWD devices detected - Connect a device and try again". Restarting the board and MCUXpresso does not help. I can't download/debug even programs that used to work. How do I recover?

Hope you are well.

Please follow these steps to regain control of your board:

Import any example of the SDK, I suggest you import the iled_blinky example.
Locate SW8 on your board.
Change these switches so you can enter to Serial Downloader.
Disconnect and connect the power of your board so the changer in SW8 takes effect.
Make sure the project you imported does not have any debug configuration, if it has one please delete it.
Launch the debug session while you are in Serial Downloader.
Stop the debug session.
Delete the debug configuration created while you launched this project.
Go to your board and change SW8 the way it was.
Disconnect and connect your board.
At this point, you should be able to debug without any problem.

Hi Omar, I had the same problem (I also changed the RT1024 !!!) and thanks to this post I solved the problem.

The questions are:
1- What is the status of the RT1024 ? It disables the SWD ?
2- How can the RT1024 reach this state ?
3- How that can happen ?
