Req: 3D STEP Models for i.MX 8M Mini Evaluation Kit Boards

Hi,

I'm looking for proper 3D STEP models for the i.MX 8M Mini Evaluation Kit boards. Can anyone please help me find these?

I searched the downloads section at:

https://www.nxp.com/design/development-boards/i-mx-evaluation-and-development-boards/evaluation-kit-for-the-i-mx-8m-mini-applications-processor:8MMINILPD4-EVK

and couldn't find any.

Then I downloaded the design files, opened each .brd file in Allegro and exported STEP files in AP-214 format (see attached). The models are all grey colored and there are some weird rectangular objects sticking far out of the boards. At first I thought they might be antennas, but it's strange because they are on both the carrier board and the SOM. Also, is it possible that the design files are missing proper 3D (colored) components?

NXP does not provide 3D step file on any of our i.MX boards, sorry for the inconveniences that this may cause you.

Sorry to hear that NXP does not provide 3D step file for any of your i.MX boards.
Maybe one day in the future they will... it would be most helpful!
