Hello Filip091,

If the board is not being detected I would recommend making sure that the i.MXRT1060 is entering Serial Downloader Mode.

If you have problems with the manufacturing tool, which hasn’t been updated in a while, there are tools that provide similar functionality like the MCU Boot Flasher, which you may obtain from the link below:

https://github.com/JayHeng/NXP-MCUBootFlasher

I hope that this information helps!

Regards,
Gustavo

Hello,

I have problem with programming bootable image using cfgTool, want to program QSPI flash on MXRT 1060. I've generated bootable image using elftosb tool from Flashloader, I don't know if it works. Now I'm trying to use cfgTool but it writes no device detected. My cfg.ini looks like

[profiles]

chip = MXRT106X

[platform]

board =

[LIST]
name = MXRT106x-DevBootSerialFlashXiP

I've also tried other names. MfgTool.log shows

DLL version: 2.7.0
Tuesday, July 06, 2021 10:26:56 Start new logging
ModuleID[2] LevelID[10]: CMyExceptionHandler thread is running
ModuleID[2] LevelID[1]: new MxHidDeviceClass
ModuleID[2] LevelID[1]: new KBLHidDeviceClass
ModuleID[2] LevelID[10]: Device Manager thread is running
ModuleID[2] LevelID[1]: Can't set m_hStopEvent before it initialized or it already stop

or with some other names also this:

ModuleID[2] LevelID[10]: CCmdOpreation[0] thread is Closed
ModuleID[2] LevelID[10]: CCmdOpreation[0] thread is Closed
ModuleID[2] LevelID[10]: DeviceManager::OnMsgDeviceEvent() - EVENT_KILL
ModuleID[2] LevelID[10]: CMyExceptionHandler::OnMsgExceptionEvent() - KillExceptionHandlerThread
ModuleID[2] LevelID[10]: Exception Handler thread is closed
ModuleID[2] LevelID[1]: delete MxHidDeviceClass
ModuleID[2] LevelID[1]: delete MxHidDeviceClass
ModuleID[2] LevelID[10]: Device Manager thread is closed

Thanks for any kind of help.
