iMX8M Plus SDIO external pull-ups necessary or internal pull-ups are enough? (For WiFi/BTH module)

Hi!

I have some doubts about the real need of externall pull-ups for SDIO lines used for a WiFi Module (in our case JODY-W2 by Ublox).

Due to reviewing some EVKs, I have seen that external pull-ups are not used for the SDIO lines, and we wonder if just with the configuration of the pin, in the NXP Pinmux tool, as "internal pull-up enabled" it would work.

Is that right? Would that be enough?

Or on the contrary, Is it necessary to add the pullup?

Use internal pull up, please! which is enough.

don't need external pull-up resistors.

plz, place external pull up resistor for test. some case(ATWILC3000-MR110xA), internal resistor is not enough.
