Getting HDMI audio to work on sabre-sd

Hi, I'm using the Sabre-SD board with the rootfs from L3.0.35_4.1.0_DEMO_IMAGE_BSP.

I am having trouble getting the audio to work over HDMI (video works).

Resolution is set to video=mxcfb0:dev=hdmi,1920x1080M@60,if=RGB24

aplay -l also shows both audio devices.

root@freescale ~$ aplay -l

**** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices ****

card 0: wm8962audio [wm8962-audio], device 0: HiFi wm8962-0 []

Subdevices: 1/1

Subdevice #0: subdevice #0

card 1: imxhdmisoc [imx-hdmi-soc], device 0: IMX HDMI TX mxc-hdmi-soc-0 []

Subdevices: 1/1

Subdevice #0: subdevice #0

Running speaker-test -Dplughw:0, there is audio coming out of the headphone jack.

Similarly, aplay also works.

root@freescale ~$ cat /dev/urandom | aplay -Dplughw:0

Playing raw data 'stdin' : Unsigned 8 bit, Rate 8000 Hz, Mono

However, when I run speaker-test -Dplughw:1 or cat /dev/urandom | aplay -Dplughw:1

it doesn't give any error, but there is no sound coming out.

root@freescale ~$ cat /dev/urandom | aplay -Dplughw:1

Playing raw data 'stdin' : Unsigned 8 bit, Rate 8000 Hz, Mono

Are any special settings needed for configuring the audio to output to HDMI ? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
