Price vs Performance

I notice that IMX6 serisi is cheapper than processor with powerpc cores. for example IMX6Dual core is cheaper than P2020. When I compare both as performance , P2020 is not extremely powerful as compare with IMX6 dual core. Is there any reason that I don't notice?

The QorIQ processors are intended for specific (network) applications,

with (relatively) strong technical requirements (environment, reliability, etc)

and (relatively) restricted market.

The i.MX6 (mainly) are intended for general multimedia (mass market)

applications.

So , Am I correct, the reason of their price differences are not performance values (Integer and floating point operations). ? It is ımportant for me that I dont want to ignore or pass over any important performance difference between two processor?

For network related operations QorIQ performance may significantly exceed i.MX6 one (even for the same Ethernet speed).
