How do I issue a complete A53 core/M4 software reset within M4 code space? I attempted to assert reset bits in A53RCR0 and M4RCR registers but unsuccessful.

The power cycle by PMIC is recommended instead of soft reset. In case of soft reset some modules may not to be resetted.

Thanks for the reply, can you provide a code snippet on how to completely reset both processors completely (A53, and M4) in software from the M4?

You you can do a reset using watchdog.
