How to program i.MX8M Mini eFUSE during First Load?

Hi,

We are designing a custom board with the i.MX8M Mini, SPI Flash and eMMC. If neither the processor nor the flashes are programmed, is it possible to burn the eFuses during the first load (e.x. with JTAG)?

The plan is to do the following steps during manufacturing and testing of the board:

1. Programm SPI Flash with Rescue Image over Needleadapter

2. Burn eFuses from i.MX8M Mini to boot from SPI Flash

3. Start i.MX8M Mini from SPI Flash

Is the described first load according the steps above possible?

the recommended ways to burn the fuses are described in the following

Note: UUU allows to program the fuses, using internal i.MX serial downloader,
without any boot images on the board.
