Latest LTS kernel for i.MX6

Hi,

I'm wondering what is the latest LTS kernel for i.MX6?

On codeaurora I'm seeing 5.4.24_2.1.0, 5.4.3_2.0.0, 5.4.47_2.2.0 and 5.4.70_2.3.0.

Note: 5.4 is preferable to 5.10 since vanilla version will be supported until 2025.
However I'm not sure which version(s) works with i.MX6.
Currently we're using 4.1.15_2.0.0_ga, if that matters.

On a related note, I'm curious what does sub-version mean (e.g. 2.0.0_ga).

Hello ivandrobyshevsk,

The latest BSP kernel image is the Linux 5.4.70_2.3.0, and is for MX6 and MX8 you can download it from:

https://www.nxp.com/design/software/embedded-software/i-mx-software/embedded-linux-for-i-mx-applications-processors:IMXLINUX?tab=In-Depth_Tab

You need to download to 5.4.70 BSP since 4.1.15 is out of support.
