Using speex in imx27

I compile the speex-r1.2 for my imx27 platform board, but I found the encode speed is so low.

Anyone can give me some advice?

Here is my compile ways:

./configure --prefix=/working/rootfs/rootfs/PU/arm-imx27-mdk27 --enable-static --enable-shared --host=arm-926ejs-Linux CC=/opt/freescale/usr/local/gcc-4.1.1-glibc-2.4-nptl-sf-1/arm-926ejs-linux/bin/arm-926ejs-linux-gcc CFLAGS=-DIMX27ADS

make

make install

Speex website says that Speex has been replaced with Opus: Speex: a free codec for free speech

Maybe you can give Opus a try and report any issues to this community project.
