memtool

I would like to peak and poke registers on the i.mx8q. I have tried using memtool, however it lists no logical registers. Issuing <./memtool .> reports SOC: i.MX8QM followed by Unknown SOC.

How should I list the available registers and properly use the tool, is there an app note or something to explain? Or is this not the appropriate tool to use for this processor. See attached screenshot

memtool is a tool for reading and writing registers in user space, similar to linux devmem. You can find discussion and usage on this topic in the community.
