Hi,

I have setup the Yocto build system for IMX6SX using Linux 4.9.88 as mentioned on the User guide - i.MX Yocto Project User's Guide, Rev. L4.9.88_2.0.0-ga, 05/2018.

For IMX6Sx I completed, the setup.

Can I use the same directory to setup for IMX8MQEVK, just by using DISTRO=<> MACHINE=<> command for imx8m?

or I need to use the different directory/version of toolchain BSP?

Kindly explain in detail, as this IMX/Yocto platform is new to me.

Thanks.

Yes, you can use if you do have enough disk space. Just use the different name if do not deleted the one you have created.

$ DISTRO=**** MACHINE=imx8mqevk *** "New directory name"

$ bitbake ****
