imx7dsabresd startx problem

Hi. I have an imx7d-based board with a seven inch LCD panel and I prepared my linux system by using instructions of NXP documents.

fbset -fb /dev/fb0 -g 800 480 800 480 18 -t 33333 14 14 14 14 40 8

I can see the login screen. With

cat /dev/urandom > /dev/fb0

I see a noisy screen. But I can't start X system.

What should I do?

Hello ahmetcihan,

You have to enable X11 to start with startx, also please make sure that you are following the appnote https://community.nxp.com/t5/i-MX-Processors-Knowledge-Base/Install-Ubuntu-14-04-on-i-MX7D-SDB/ta-p/1115290

For enable ubuntu on MX7Sabre SD.

Thank you Bio_TICFSL. I prepared my linux by using yocto, it wasn't ubuntu. Let me try ubuntu now. I didn't like yocto anyway..
