      <description>&lt;P&gt;I know later i.MX SoCs (e.g. the i.MX 8M Mini) do support QuadSPI resp. QPI with their FlexSPI controller mainly to interface with mass storage aka flash devices. But how about Serial Quad I/O (SQI) which would allow for generic communication?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The reason for asking is that we would like to interface a Microchip LAN9253 which supports&amp;nbsp;SQI (high speed SPI). Are there any SoCs from NXP which are known to support this?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The i.MX8MMini has Quad SPI it has no connectio to Serial Quad I/O, other con be connected trough FlexSPI, qspi driver is described in sect.3.5 Quad Serial Peripheral Interface (QuadSPI) of you Linux Reference Manual.&lt;/P&gt;
