      <title>iMX6ULL evaluation board NAND support</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;In the imX6ULL evaluation board schematic on the page for Flash there is a&amp;nbsp;MTFC8GACAAAM on the lower left. It is not connected to anything as far as I can see. Am I right? I think it is just a footprint. Why is it there? I want to solder a BGA NAND flash to the board but this footprint seems to be not connected electrically to anything. i want to see whether I have missed anything. Thanks.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; MTFC8GACAAAM is eMMC. According to section 2.6 (eMMC)of i.MX 6ULL EVK Board Hardware User's Guide:&lt;BR /&gt;The eMMC interface is connected to USDHC2 of i.MX 6ULL. It can support up to eMMC 4.5, the&lt;BR /&gt;eMMC device is not populated by default on the EVK board. To boot from eMMC, remove the Micro SD&lt;BR /&gt;socket and populate the eMMC device, and then change the boot device switch (SW601) settings&lt;BR /&gt;(OFF, ON, ON, OFF) as shown in Table 3 Additionally, the BOOT_CFG settings must be adjusted for&lt;BR /&gt;the specified eMMC device by exchanging the pull up/down resistors.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; NAND on the EVK is mentioned as MT29F32G08CBADBW. Use section 2.8 (NAND flash) of the Guide&lt;BR /&gt;for more details.&lt;/P&gt;
