Connecting Regular SPI Slave to QuadSPI Master, will it work?

Hi,

I'm in a situation where a regular SPI slave device is connected to the QuadSPI pins of IMX8MQ (I know this is troublesome but it's a fact now that the PCB has already been made).

Does anyone know a way to make it work by configuring the DeviceTree and to add a Linux kernel for QuadSPI master?

Hello Joe,

Yes, it will work, if you are working with any of the BSP, you don´t need to modify anything.

Could you explain a bit more on how to make it work?

Yes, I'm working at the Linux kernel drivers, including the devicetree configuration. But I just don't know how to configure it.
