i.MX8M MINI: errata e50080 and boot errors

We have prototypes of an own board with i.MX8M MINI and see boot errors an some but not all boards for booting from SD-Card. All the boards can boot from serial download / e-MMC (IO pins @ 1.8V). Wenn boards are booted, SD-Card is accessible in bootloader and works as expected.

Looking at SD-Card signals during boot, we see ROM-Loader ist trying to load from SD Card but image is not booted. These boards are falling back to serial downloader mode.

Question: since out of reset internal pull resistors are active on the SD pads and these pads running on 3.3V, can the malfunction be caused by this CPU errata? If yes, what is the suggested workaround. Not: we have pullups on SD-Card signals

in general it may be caused by errata, suggestion is provided in

i.MX 8M Mini Mask Set Errata for Mask 0N87W

use externall pulls, for example as in i.MX6Q Sabre SD example
