Audio Interface in IMX7ULP with DMA

Hello,

Setup:

IMX7ULP + dig mic

Queries

1) Is there a way to capture audio data using DMA over I2S interface? if yes, how much max audio data(at 16k sample rate) can be captured?

2) Is there a way to access I2S interface from Cortex A7 processor?

Looking forward to a helpful response. It would be great if someone can provide sample applications for audio capturing on IMX7ULP either on M4/A7.

1) yes, refer to the schematic, imx7ulp uses wm8960, refer to the driver of wm8960, which can support up to SNDRV_PCM_FORMAT_S24_LE

2） one can set in dts file
