I am using to place some of images(uboot, kernel, rootfs) with Mfgtool v2 and kernel versioin is 4.1.15.

when I am using to Mfgtool v2, processing is stuck in "UTP: Waiting for device to appear), So, I realized linux_mfgtool kernel image should be used and then changed to linux_mfgtool and try again, downloading is complete.

But I have found Normal linux kernel image and linux_mfgtool image are different.

My question is that:

If I am right above my results, If only images for only mfgtool should be used when flashing to device with mfgtool,

the device with linux_mfgtool may operate differently on normal linux kernel image.

If so, how should i place normal uboot and kernel image to device after downloading uboot and linux image for mfgtool?

I have reviewed some of guides for mfgtool, but I can't be understood.

For your information, I am using imx6qp evaluation board.

I got my problems and now is okay, but I think some guide for mfgtool is lack of the explanation so that make someone misunderstand.

Glad it works on you side. For the newer version BSP, we supply the uuu tool.
