We tried to create a CE image on an SD card using a non-development machine. When we run Fix_eboot.exe, we get the error message:

"This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem."

When I reviewed the error in Event Viewer, I saw that the error is due to missing VC90/DebugCRT. I thought that I only had to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package and 2008 SP1, as there isn't a 2009 Redistributable Package. Then I realized that it is asking for a "DEBUG" DLL. This is not provided in MSFT distribution packages.

Can you provide us with an executable build in release mode?

BTW: MfgTool.exe works just fine.
