Hi,

We are working with custom board based on i.MX8M Mini SoC and yocto distribution.

we are facing the build error: please find the complete details.

Could you please let us know, what is causing the error.

I tried installing the meson : sudo apt-get install meson

but still no luck.

Is Linux Host PC kernel version is 4.4 and distribution_version is 4.14-sumo will this also cause any problem. please let me know your comments.

1. test result.

#DISTRO=fsl-imx-wayland MACHINE=imx8mmevk source fsl-setup-release.sh -b build-wayland
#bitbake systemd -c compile

So no probem.

2. About your issues.

It seems that systemd package or dependencies is not complete. so configure failed.

you can clean its packages or states, then recompile it.

# bitbake systemd -c cleanall

# bitbake systemd -c compile

Thank you for the suggestion.

In iMX8M Mini EVK hw and with yocto distribution it is working fine. no such errors seen.

we are facing the problem for the custom board and distribution is customized to suit to this custom hw (based on iMX8MM)

Do you have any suggestion for the same.

Hi Weidong,

There was a problem in the ubuntu OS in our working Linux PC,

earlier builded codes also not building, so we re-installed again the ubuntu OS and now the build is success.
