Hello,

We have Codewarrior experience on QorIQ/Layerscape devices and some NXP Codewarrior JTAG TAP boxes.

Can Codewarrior be used to debug the Linux Kernel on the i.MX8MQ?

We're currently evaluating ARM's DS solution with our MCIMX8M-EVK development board, but we have an interest to stick with CodeWarrior.

No, Codewarrior can't be used to debug i.MX processors.

ARM DS5 is OK. If you want to debug M4 core in i.MX8MQ, Jlink Plus can be used.
