      <title>Linux freez when MIPI &amp; M4 are used</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hello&lt;/P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hardware: i.MX 7Dual revision 1.2 and 1.3&lt;/P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;P&gt;Software: Linux, based on NXP &lt;SPAN class=""&gt;4.14.98-2.0.0_ga.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;Scenario:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;* The M4 core is executing a program that continuously generates UART messages and changing the value of a GPIO.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;P&gt;* The MIPI display is active.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;P&gt;* The ambient temperature is 45 degrees Celsius.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;P&gt;* The measured temperature, by the A7, is 75C.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;P&gt;The following command is used to read the A7 temperature:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;P&gt;# cat /sys/class/thermal/thermal_zone0/temp&lt;/P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;P&gt;* The Linux get stuck after a few minutes.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;P&gt;* The problem doesn't occur if the M4 or the LVDS is not active.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;P&gt;* Some SOCs requires a higher temperature to recreate the problem.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please let me know if additional information is needed.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;P&gt;Uri&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
