[YOCTO] Getting started with yocto and debian

Hi there! i'm getting started with a system embebed from tq, tqma6ulx-mba6ulx, I never work before with an embedded system. I've created an image with Yocto, and differents layer from freescale. Now, I'm trying to create an image with debian, and I want to configure a x-server, but I don't know how to do that.

It's any place where I can get information about this process.

I have several doubts for how can I develop an application for the embbebed system. I'm following this guide Setting up Eclipse can I use OSELAS.tolchain even if I create my linux image with Yocto?

And how can acces to the hardware in my c project?
