      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;The nxp website clearly states that the iMX8M can encode "1080p30 (h.264) - SW" (&lt;A class="jivelink1" href="https://www.nxp.com/products/processors-and-microcontrollers/arm-processors/i.mx-applications-processors/i.mx-8-processors:IMX8-SERIES" title="https://www.nxp.com/products/processors-and-microcontrollers/arm-processors/i.mx-applications-processors/i.mx-8-processors:IMX8-SERIES"&gt;https://www.nxp.com/products/processors-and-microcontrollers/arm-processors/i.mx-applications-processors/i.mx-8-processors:IMX8-SERIES&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When we have tested this using the encoder in Android, however, we are only seeing 4 to 5 fps for 1080p encoding.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What are the conditions to get 1080p software encoding up to 30fps? Even if this is marketing specs, I would like to know all the caveats that need to be in place to achieve 30fps so that we can understand what we need to do to replicate this claim.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
