Hi,
I have i.MX QuadMax MEK CPU board, of which the CM4 core I want to use for a bare metal application.

As instructed by the Quick Start Guide I received along with the board, placed my image file in the SD Card and set the Bootmode switches to 001100 so that SDCard is used by the Boot-ROM for booting the system up.

The quick start guide also instructs to configure a terminal window(Teraterm) with parameters

Baudrate: 115200

Data bits: 8

Stop bit: 1

Parity: None

Flow Control: None

and connect the board to PC acting as host in order to monitor the boot activity on the terminal with a micro-usb cable.

It does not mention the VCP drivers to install and eventually, no COM ports for serial communication are available to be configured in the terminal window.

There are 4 unrecognized devices visible though under the "Other devices" section in Device Manager by the name of "USB Serial Port".

Could someone please point me in a direction where I can find the drivers for this specific target or a detailed Boot process?

imx8quadmax‌imx8quadmax-boot‌imx8quadmax-drivers‌MCIMX8QM-CPU
