    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I understood there is no way to clear the Watchdog Enable (WDE) bit of the Watchdog Control Register (WCR) in software once it is set. &lt;BR /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;https://community.nxp.com/thread/444082&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;https://community.nxp.com/thread/450037&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So I would like to keep WDE bit clear from the beginning to the end.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Fortunately ROM and uboot seems do nothing.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is there any way to ignore&amp;nbsp;the watchdog during linux configuration?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It is nice to switch with setenv kernel variable or dts binding description without rebuild images.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can anyone help me?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
