Android build error on creating dtbo.img

I am trying to add drivers for a Wi-Fi/ BT Module into Android p9 and building the OS, but seem to hit an error where dtbo.img is unable to be created. I am unable to resolve this issue for a while

I am building this for NXP imx8m board which is running Android p9 and get the above error during the build

please download the document Android P9.0.0_2.2.0 Documentation.

In the User's Guide, please read the chapter 7.2.2 and chapter 8. You may need to change the BoardConfig.mk.
